This is about taking heat off the IDF.
The recent revelations about the IDF systematically killing civilians are being deflected by placing the blame on the American, only the American, mercenaries. That's why the AP left in the "Hell Yeah!" and characteristic American whooping in the video.
This is about taking the heat off the much larger massacres by the IDF, and placing everything onto the GHF security mercs and the "few" shots they fired. It's all about re-framing the massacres as belonging to the US, not to Israel and the IDF.
The Israelis are using the US like toilet paper.
