god damn, main story chapter 6 is the only other part I loved enough to rewatch my favorite parts of, I'm still in awe at how they managed to make a chapter about a jobber with only a technicality G1 win into the best fucking chapter yet

Oh holy fuck, I'm exhausted from all the crying. I was holding it together pretty well but that montage fucked me up. 15/10 final chapter, an almost perfect end to the Fukunaga saga. It's would have been a 20/10 if they reveal Phonehead here; it's so distracting when the commentator kept saying "The Triple Crown Umamusume" alongside actual name like "Daring Tact" and "Almond Eye." If anything can convince the Fatman that Uma will treat each hors' legacy properly, it's gotta be this main story.
