Spamton mischaracterization exists on a spectrum.
On one end you have people who woobiefy him. Depicting him as a total softie for Tenna who would've stuck by him if it weren't for the prophecy tearing them apart.
On the other end, you have people who think he doesn't give a fuck about Tenna AT ALL and that their entire relationship was just built on manipulation.
It's like 2016 vs 2024 fanon Sans all over again.
