Mid-thought you lock onto his ki, and in a blink vanish. Leaving your home behind, returning right back to where you'd been before, with Joseph in tow.
“-ou do-” his thoughts continue a moment before his eyes register, breaking his concentration as he shouts. “WOAH! Man, even EXPECTING it, that's still surprising!”
“Having people just teleport around does take some getting used to.” you reply, helping the 'supposedly' mentally declining Joestar back into his seat. You then instruct the young man in how to properly reach out to someone telepathically and not only receive and reply to such communications before returning home to your wife. Who'd left Goar, Cesha and Okira back in the training room. The two of you spend the rest of the day walking about the city, speaking with everyone and letting them know the city's actual name before heading in for supper then turning in for bed. Tomorrow could be a long day, but your last thoughts before you head off to sleep are of Chaya. Wondering who else she's going to pick for her team in the the Zen-Oh tournament tomorrow. Then realize she never asked you if you'd be one of the fighters, perhaps she's getting others and saving your power for the real fight?
But suddenly you're awake, before you can even open your eyes your mind springs awake, instincts warning you that you're being watched. With Towa asleep curled up on your left side, Meloka on your right, both your arms are pinned beneath the two women. And any sudden moves will wake them.
Well? What now? How do you approach this situation?
>Expand your ki sense, try and detect anything near you that could be watching you
>Open your eyes, lean your head up and look around. You don't need your arms to defend your bed and family, your Eye Beams alone should be sufficient for whatever's watching you
>Telepathically link up to New Salda, retake your Champion form and use its powers and awareness to detect everything going on once more
>Stay still and continue pretending to be sleeping, but stay on high-alert and wait and see what happens
