In addition, I'll suggest Touhou (or indeed any shmup with an anime style) as another example. Vertical scrolling shooters have very simple gameplay but I think you'd be hard pressed to convince a casual gacha player to be willing to try and beat any given Touhou game even on the easiest difficulty, since even though they're simple they still require concentration and a certain degree of memorization and hand-eye coordination.
