I bought a new keyboard so now you guys get to read my ramblings so I can get used to the new layout. Let's talk about Lilja. In the past year we have had many chances to explore various facets of her personality, from the shy cute girl who couldn't hurt a fly to the beast who put Shion down like the rabid dog that she was. At first I have to admit her scenario seemed fairly straight forward, it was a very generic VN experience for a secondary heroine. We did start to see some of the failings of her personality though, mainly her single mindedness when it came to lessons. It was like an obsession, largely fueled by her desire to be able to perform with someone as amazing as Sumika one day, but it is this stubbornness that could've been her undoing in NIA had Sumika and P not gotten angry at her for her recklessness. It's admirable just how far she'll go, scary even. Temari's fear of her is honestly warranted, even if it's played for laughs as being Temari's misunderstanding. If her GUTS and HARD WORK can be properly channeled there is no reason to believe she couldn't go head to head with Temari down the line. It may take time, years even, but eventually she'd get there through pure unhinged stubbornness. Pretty much the same way Temari got to where she is, brute force. Honestly, Shion was a retard for picking a fight with her, she stood no chance once the white devil was pissed off. The various support card commus bringing out more of her other facets like her love for gaming and otaku stuff like mecha and magical girls was also a very welcomed changed from the beginning state. Yeah we knew she was an otaku, but mainly because we were TOLD she was an otaku. We weren't really shown it until later. Nor just how competitive she can be, but after a year I think she's in a very good spot and any new player should be able to get the full experience, even if they don't have the cards, since all of this is uploaded to youtube.
