I'm totally fine with protagonists doing fucked up shit so long as the series and world acknowledge it as being fucked up, but I think casual non-consequential cruelty just makes me enraged.

I was really enjoying this and then this part put a damper on the whole thing even if it was just a "gag." That Minecraft series with the harpies massacring thousands of people casually and just kinda laughing it off when they realized they didn't surrender because they had murdered all the commanders who could issue a surrender, REALLY fucking got under my skin, too.
