"I think we'd be willing to just do our part. If-" You raise a hand to stop Wind from interrupting. "-you follow a few conditions."

"What would they be?"

"Firstly, don't consider our debt wiped out just from that. We'll be helping and putting in work, so you'll still owe us by the end of it. And secondly, I need there to be a few additions to the mission goals.

"Yeah!"

You look towards Squid and tap your Digivice.

"I actually have a bit more info on Digi-DNA. Doc told me about it a few days ago, I think it'll help with our planning."

You roll your chair closer to her, while she listens eagerly and pulls out a display window to take notes.

"An Ultimate-level Digimon. You want us to try and take one down?" Wind asks, looking between Phascomon and his own partner.

"Yeah. Like I said, that's the best way to obtain the data needed to Digivolve further. And its Digi-DNA could come in really handy."

"Our combined firepower would not be able to overwhelm a Digimon of that level." Kaus Gammamon says.

"You've got a whole bunch of little guys. If we get to the lower-level data first, and help them evolve into Champions, maybe we'd stand a chance."

"It's a big risk. But it seems like a step we'll need to take eventually... Alright. IF we find one, and IF I deem that we can handle it, we'll make a detour and take one down. You'll need to accept that this isn't a guarantee."

A compromise goes both ways. You nod and hold out your hand. Wind shakes it, cementing your deal. When they plan out their mission details, you'll come along, without the ability to call shots as a client. Your objective will be part of the mission if possible, opening up a route to unlocking Phascomon's next form.

"When are you planning to do it?"

"Couple weeks from now. I'll share details another time. Let's move on to a different topic, though..."

Squid stands up and heads over to the Virtual Machine. She's been lost in her notes ever since you briefed her on Doc's Digi-DNA harvesting, and she's been scanning her own Digivice to see if it has that ability. She seems just as excited to show you what's in the locked room, and doesn't mind switching gears. It's actually rather surprising, since you've seen how much of a one-track mind she has.
