The example Sun Tzu gave was imagine two generals/leaders.
1) Super immoral, treats his soldiers like shit, the war he fights isn't justified at all
So they turn on him at the first sign of problems.
2)A moral leader/general, he treats his soldiers like sons, he has moral justifications for his war.
His soldiers will be loyal to the death.
You keep saying "Oh that's just humans" and "Oh that's just the world".
God made the world and the humans with no lack of ability or knowledge. You can learn about God from his creation which itself is governed by truth, an aspect of God.
In other words
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
