Years ago, I played a charming video game called Detective Pikachu for the Nintendo 3DS. It was breath of fresh air, it was a non-standard Pokemon game where you got to walk up to and talk to pokemon more intimately than you ever have in Pokemon games before. I thought it was really neat and liked it so much so that I bought the Detective Pikachu amiibo.
Then the awful movie came out where they blackwashed Tim. Then the sequel on the Switch came out where they dumbed down the game and made it more about story and side activities instead of detective crime solving. Thankfully, they didn't blackwash Tim in the game, but you could tell they had to spread diversity because lots of non-essential characters were blackwashed and I found it funny that you could always tell who the bad guy was in each chapter because it was always the white guy. They shouldn't blackwash a villain, for sure.
Anyways. The downfall of Detective Pikachu has led to me feeling embarrassed that I own this amiibo. Thankfully, I can just get rid of it. Had I been a stupid motherfucker who got a tattoo, I'd really be embarrassed and humiliated.
Things change, you might fall out of love with that thing you really liked, so don't get it tattoo'd on you.
