Genetics do play a part in everything, it dictates what color your hair is, what color your skin is, what color your eyes are. If your parent's lineage doesn't have some gene, you don't get it. Any heritable trait or disease can be passed onto you.
Understanding this should make it very clear that whatever you are, is based on whatever genes you got from your biological parents, this mean some people are gifted, inclined or talented at somethings more than someone else.
Sure you can train somethings to be better, but someone else with genes that more optimized in that area of life will be better at those tasks than you with the same training, and this is what is called talent.
