When you export your people you are gaining influence in other people's countries. Britain exported it's people and was able to take over large land masses, you talking to a decedent of British.
India's government budget was US$530 billion in 2023. Remittances was 129 billion. (so about 1/4)
The Indian government know what it's doing, thats why they embed population flooding into trade deals.
