You don't need a "retelling", just look at the myths of Enki and Enlil. Same basic story about a garden except the sky god wanted early man to serve as slaves in his garden, which Enki wouldn't allow. It was Enki who gave humans knowledge. It was Enlil who was enraged by how noisy people were and tried to wipe them out with a flood. It was Enki who saved them from the flood by convincing Uthnaphistm to build an ark.

It was also Enlil who said the would eventually reverse the story, making Enki the bad guy.

This isn't a retelling of Genesis, this myth predates the bible. Genesis is the retelling.
