Regardless of how Yoru got to where she is now, she obviously behaves very differently towards Denji than if it was chapter 98.
Also there are plenty of Devils who could share a brain with Asa while not giving the slightest damn about Denji or Asa. There's obviously something about Yoru that makes her particularly vulnerable to being affected by Asa and Denji.
Most likely it's part of the on-going theme about Devils having a void that they cannot fill due to their Devil natures, just like Makima did.
In Yoru's case it's not exactly the same, but similar.
