CITIZENS OF QUEST
The honorable JUDGE MONKE hearby oversees the trial for BANANASQM brought before the court by HIS PLAYERS.
BANANASQM stands accused of BAMBOOZLING and intentionally tricking his players (again). While he has a long history of doing this to increase his quest's "difficulty" or even "engagement", this one has been claimed to be especially egregious.
In short; BananasQM committing a QUEST CRIME by promising his players "no gotchas" and a "no strings attached" bonus action on a minigame, before turning around and hitting them with a punishment for taking this bonus action; turning several NPCs who might have contributed to their win condition into enemies instead.
Sounds like an open and shut case! But let's see the evidence;
>>6277677 The specific post promising the "no tricks" element of the extra minigame choice
>>6278045 post explaining the consequence and >>6278063 & >>6278103 explaining the thought process behind it
>>6268876 post explaining the "isolationists turning against you" rule and hints for future updates
>>6278049 most critical of the update
Original and first ever explanation of the "vow" rule https://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/2021/4854243/#p4873218
Not shown: Multiple times "vows" have been used or traded as minigame bonuses or methods to gain additional, game-turn-like bonuses or extra actions.
All members of /qst/ are entitled to a jury of their peerlayers. What say you on this matter?
Is BANANSQM Guilty or Not Guilty?
>Guilty
>Not Guilty
If found GUILTY, what should the punishment be?
>Heartfelt apology
>Rescindence of the offending update
>Equal or equivalent "game benefit" to counteract the "unfair negative" inflicted but without cancelling the original update & intent behind the "consequence for the choice"
>Other (Write in)
