You forgot about the whole "Richter fell to the dark side and corrupted the Vampire Killer/Belmont bloodline for the next hundred years until Jonathan purified the whip in the 1940s and Julius fucked Dracula up in the 1990s". He's a fan favorite due to Rondo of Blood and SotN, but in-universe Richter fucked up big time.
