On June 14, while the UK was showcasing its military presence in the Indo-Pacific, it covertly flew an F-35 into Indian airspace to test India’s response capabilities. However, India launched cyber countermeasures that triggered the F-35’s safety protocols, forcing it to land autonomously at the nearest Indian airport, where it was rendered inoperable until specialized UK technicians could arrive to recover it.
