When you think about it, each of the crew members in this game represent different ways of reacting to the existential horror of a nihilistic universe

Jimmy - delusion/escapism/solipsism i.e. cope belief systems such as religion or ideology, LARPing as the main character of reality
Swansea - hedonism; deciding to just live it up and give in to your vices before you die
Anya - depression/suicide; kys in the face of the hardships of a cruel unforgiving universe
Daisuke - naive idealism/optimism, trying to stay positive in the face of hopelessness
Curly - represents the blind victims of reality being fucked over and suffering due to not noticing or thinking about the emergency of mortality until it's too late
