In 1999 Indonesia refused to accept the result of East Timors independence referendum and went on a killing spree, Bill Clinton phoned up the newly elected president B. J. Habibie and explained that if Indonesia did not abide by the independence vote result then the USA would not be able to gurantee Indonesias IMF loans.
The killings ceased and the military and "pro-Jakata militias" began withdrawing the next day.
That is the power of the United States.
Somehow Donny doesn't know how to wield this power.
There is a very simple way to resolve this:
Iran will stop when they are no longer threatened.
Israel will stop when the guns and money are cut off.
