He was employed to make Arsenal competitive again after the team missed Champions League qualification for several years. He has over-delivered and he is due more respect. Teams like Chelsea and City have been flooded with crazy, morally grey money for over a decade, especially before significant PSR curtailment, and the likes of United also assume they should be title contenders. You cannot take competitiveness for granted. Only one team can win, and sometimes one team stays injury free and has an elderly Egyptian winger that plays blinder after blinder. You can't control all the fates, and Arteta can't be faulted for much that is in his control. Let him cook.
