Flux is better at details. But in my eyes Flux gens always look too fake, almost like CGI which defeats the whole purpose of AI gens. Sure, SDXL has this weird noise and haze about it but even that looks a bit realistic, that noise is one of the most common filters girls use to take their pics. You can also make it work in its favor with some flavor like pic related.
