Liberals aren't American. They are cosmopolitans, meaning that the exact same liberals exist in Belgrade, London, Berlin, New York and every other western liberal city.

They will cry and wail that there are different cultures, but culture is actually Right Wing, it is by its definition national. The people who actually practice American Culture are Rednecks and Christian types. The French who actually practice French culture are working class, not the Bobos. The Bourgoisie is international, and ironically so is Leftism, so they've ended up becoming the same thing despite ostensibly hating each other.

Petronius skewers this pretty ruthlessly about 2000 years ago so this isn't a new phenomenon. Culture, as the word itself suggests, is something grown organically and low, there is no such thing as "high culture." Liberals and cosmopolitans are essentially fashionistas, they don't actually have a culture in any real sense of the word. Fashion isn't culture, because fashion doesn't grow, it just changes.
