That stuff only really stops people who aren't creative enough I find. Palworld got sued by Nintendo and they just changed up a few things while still being the best pokemon game for a long while.

I'm stingy too but you know sometimes the interest is too great. Also no idea about Warhammer 3 I never bothered getting it. Nothing in it that I like. I bought Pharaoh instead and have a lot of fun playing it.
