The US is going to pull out of UNESCO.
The reason is that Israel which is not member of UNESCO says it is antisemitic.
They say it is antisemitic for 3 reason.
First while the Israelis have 9 world heritage sites, the Palestinians have 4 which shows clear favouritism. Second they say that the recognition of sites not in Israel as being located in Palestine in itself is antisemitic. Third say say that the sites themselves are not relevant to human history / culture and should be demolished since they are solely political tools. These sites include the oldest human habitation in existence and THE CHURCH OF NATIVITY ERECTED ON THE BIRTH PLACE OF JESUS CHRIST.
Since the early days of the Syrian conflict the Hezbola has been stationing troops in Syrian in what Israel has called a worrying and dangerous trend that cannot be allowed to continue. The reason the Lebanese were there was to ensure that CHRISTIAN VILLAGES WOULD BE DEFENDED FROM ISIS as the Syrian government was over stretched. The Israeli response was to allow safe passage for jihadists through Israel, to arm jihadists, to provide them with medical treatment, to provide them with vehicles and supplies, and TO AIR STRIKE THE CHRISTIAN VILLAGES THAT HEZBOLA WAS DEFENDING AHEAD OF GROUND ATTACKS BY ISIS.
