>Try and bait them into entering the hallway, in order to take away their aerial advantage and delete the two in close quarters. You need some way to trick, taunt, or convince them. There may be .apps that could work, like your last holographic decoy, or something a Digimon could do.

You huddle together to plan out your approach. Bella looks a bit affronted by your suggestion.

“But what if they attack Gazimon?”

“Then we’ll try to defend her. That’s the whole point. Come on, I saw how she acted earlier. She’s got a real mouth on her, I don’t think the rest of us could get them as mad.”

”Guess they all have that streak in them.” Phascomon says derisively.

“Don’t be like that. You’re no bundle of sunshine either.” You admonish.

Gazimon, meanwhile, is looking a bit bashful and self conscious again.

”I don’t want to get like that on purpose.”

“Not even if it saves us all? We’re here on a job.”

"You didn't have a problem doing it to Espimon. Can't blame you, Espimon are the worst."

You try appealing to a few different lines of thought. You flatter her, guilt trip her, and eventually just tell Bella to get it together and have her partner contribute. Gazimon caves after a few minutes. She wanders away and starts pacing, mumbling under her breath and rehearsing how she’s going to speak to the menacing machines.

”Hey! Chicken wings! You ready to miss every shot again?”

Gazimon calls out to the two patrolling units. They’re both hovering by the vault, keeping their eyes on the doorway.

”Come find out!” One replies.

A shape flies out onto the bridge, causing them to release another barrage of missiles. When the smoke clears, a twisted scrap of metal is left behind, slowly deconstituting from the damage. Gazimon laughs hysterically. It’s a sharp cackle that digs at your ears, and heavily irritates the guardians.

”That look like a Digimon to you? Or even a human? That’s all it takes for us to get past you.”

”You little twerp! Once we get backup, you’re dead.”

”Too late for that, slowpoke! We’ve already sent someone in while you were launching those piddly bombs you’re so proud of.”

One of the Pteramon lowers itself to face the door, investigating the area around it in alarm. The other keeps its gaze on the doorway, where the purple Digimon is slowly emerging.

”You’re bluffing. There’s no way-“

The sharp laugh cuts across the bridge again.

”Of course I am! Did you see anyone run across? But your idiot friend is checking anyway, isn’t he? It really is that easy!”

The second Pteramon hisses in frustration. Segments open up on its wings, and it blasts the doorway with another volley of fire.

“Hololize!”
