Been browsing reddit lately and they firmly refuse to call Chara evil
They say he was just kind of a dick, that everything in the genocide route was Frisk fault, he just went along for the ride

Also, neither Asgore nor Toriel called chara their "son". They always called him "fallen human" and even Asriel just called him his best friend.
