The friction was good, my issue is that Fontaine gives me the same feeling as the festivalslop events where everyone is super friendly and happy to meet other playable characters and it doesn't feel natural.
It's like how in Mondo they set up a party for Jean and it feels natural that they would do it, but when Fontaine characters interact outside their small friend groups it doesn't feel as natural(at least to me) and it feels more like "we need them to interact for the story of this event".
