Like one day you wake up and you're a Japanese high schooler in a slice of life anime. Everything in the world looks like it's from the show and all the people have those big bug eyes. Not only that, but the world has been "sanitized". War, poverty, crime, and all other forms of suffering are conspicuously absent. In its place is a clean, safe world where the worst thing that happens is someone's pet dying or someone's family moving away.
