I want to put extra emphasis on this because people won't take it serious, but trannies are unironically a big problem in FFXIV. When you have the new player sprout icon, you constantly get approached by them trying to groom you. A lot of players you run into in populated areas are trannies running coomer mods busy ERPing in DMs while standing in public. The problem reaches into moderation because you can not say the word "fuck" even without it being used as an insult, without getting muted for it if someone reports you, yet at the same time there will some AGP standing 5 steps away from where you said "fuck" typing out a textwall about rape or something to a minor in DMs while their character barely wears any clothes. This biased moderation causes normal/mature players to leave and you're left with just more and more trannies which keep growing in numbers as they groom more insecure new players while getting non grooming targets banned because you will undeniably go "what the fuck stay away from me" when they make a move on you.
