can we just for a moment talk about how ugly and annoying this BLINDING BLUE LED shit is? every "wow look at china" video is plastered in this hideous color. rows and rows of buildings covered in this slop. why are they so obsessed with it? it is a chinese paradox: they obviously are using it to make the place look fancy and expensive, but it ends up looking tacky and cheap. the closest analogy i can think of is its like IRL malware.
