If a local sheriff turns a blind eye to teenage prostitution, he’s “corrupt”likely jailed, certainly condemned. If a state governor ignores it, it's called a “systemic failure”-regrettable, perhaps, but politically survivable.
If the President of the United States downplays it, it's framed as a trade-off-a necessary evil “for national stability” or “strategic relations.”
Conclusion: The higher one climbs in authority, the more the burden of responsibility is diluted by distance and rhetoric. What would be scandalous at the street level becomes “policy ambiguity” at the top. Power doesn’t just protect-it often sanitizes.Never forget “She’d be in jail if I were President”, versus “She’s been through enough already” after he was President.

Yeah, and I get the other snarky replies. But seriously, when did we enter this Milton Friedman on steroids timeline? The 80s? I was a teen then so I’m an old fag, but I remember when average people could afford shit.

This right here. They disappeared 27 trillion over 17 years using DoD and HUD and the big drain on the system are the .00001 percent of 30 year old gamers getting Medicaid…lol…Israel drops more of our bombs in a weekend than we spend on that demographic.
