Polish jews were basically doing a Gaza to the German civilians they had captured with the kiked Treaty of Versailles.
Of course Hitler had to help his own, that is what any actually good leader would do.
It didn't have to become a world war though, which happened because France and UK declared war on Germany.
What most people don't understand that Poland was the most jewish nation in Europe by far in pre-war times, in fact in medieval Europe it was even called "the sanctuary of jews" which accepted kikes when everyone else was busy kicking them out
