I don't think anyone cares, but I just finished Umineko's book 5 and I came to the conclusion that the Jane detective is the old detective that simply got bored. He was always mentally unstable, but now that Jane is out he found an outlet and excuse to shitpost like a relentless schizo just like his favorite detective Erika.
