it was getting worse the older I got as a repressor, but accepting I have some kind of gender thing and starting HRT to do something about it let the trend slow then start to reverse, and I'm still slowly easing into my own body feeling like my own and figuring out my comfort zone even after five years but the dysphoria has calmed down a LOT

life is constant damage over time and we're always getting older so the way I looked at it before I started was just changing the pattern in which I'd age to be more satisfactory
