Re-read the final fight, there's no involvement or even mention of blut at all, Ichigo can't even activate HoS by himself, what happens is that Yhwach's quincy reiatsu fills the place during the battle and makes Ichigo's inner hollow want to keep the upper hand and thus wakes up, it's something that can only happen *because* Yhwach's quincy reiatsu is waking up White, Ichigo himself has no way to trigger this on his own
It wouldn't even make sense, Ichigo was even worrying Orihime by recklessly throwing himself at Yhwach *because* he wanted that sweet sweet quincy reiatsu to wake up White, if he could wake White himself by activating blut he would have used blut right away
