Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence has examined a new Russian reconnaissance UAV used to detect Ukrainian air defenses — nearly all major components are made in China.

Specifically, the fuselage and blocks, a Chinese copy of the data transmission module, the controller with autopilot, navigation modules, antennas, speed sensor, and Pitot tube all come from the Chinese company CUAV Technology.

This is despite the company’s 2022 statement that it would restrict supplies to both Ukraine and Russia to prevent its products from being used in the war.
