Do not use waxed papers. Just plain parchment paper made for baking works way better.

Sort of? Depends on how cheap you can get the two boxes versus what paints you already have.
Too many of the colors are super stepped on with opacifiers, nixing the whole point of an expanded Zorn palette. They do weird shit when thinned. Made to sell Triads, or whatever AP calls their pre-blended tint ranges.
The gold is amazing, the two washes (warm skin, grimdark shadow) are gross like the new citadel ones. Voodoo shade is like a weak green Marine juice. Heavy Metal is not so great.
I see myself using the earth tones and the ivory white, the red and the gold, the violet and the two speed paints (red and dark turquoise) the most. The rust technical is ok too. Bought to show my support for Blanche, so I don't really mind, I guess.
If you want to paint like JB, study his minis. Or study late in life Rembrandt paintings, same approach to color.
