That's the thing, you CAN print off jaegers if you want since they're public domain, it's just that nobody does. Because the only people using freeware designs are either overpriced security firms serving rich clients who want big clunky robots to feel safe, people who want dinergates as either pets or guard dogs (there's actually an event where a certain Doll seethes because she tried to order an original cutesy dinergate for a stage show and got shipped the SMASHED and SLAMMED super dinergate instead), or they just print off a bunch of goliath bombs to commit terrorism with (this is a lore entry in the archive you can unlock)
