The Russian outlet The Moscow Times reports that drone attacks have halted production at the "Nevinnomyssky Azot" plant in Stavropol Krai, Russia — one of the largest producers of ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers in the country.
The plant is part of Russia’s military-industrial complex and annually produces up to 1 million tons of ammonia and 1.4 million tons of ammonium nitrate. It was also part of the supply chain for acetic and nitric acid to a plant in Dzerzhinsk used in the production of explosives.
