It would be cool if light world sections were actually modeled after bullet pattern combat in some way, especially when you're trying to avoid Kris. The closet scene was sort of close, but it was all scripted and impossible to lose anyway. Imagine if there was an actual boss tier dodging sequence in the light world in order avoid Kris capturing you, and if you do it without getting caught you progress down a secret route.
