At IBM, there are currently 2816 open roles in India compared to only just a mere 312 in the entire United States.
Of all those roles, there are only 1574 entry-level roles, 1026 of which are again based in India and only 64 entry-level roles in the United States.
A whopping 65% of these entry-level roles are based in India alone, with entry-level roles in the United States only making up 4%!!
Reminder that IBM is an American based company with an Indian CEO named Arvind Krishna, and this is not only happening with IBM, but with many tech companies in the United States, outsourcing to a singular shithole we call India. What happens when there are a bunch of American computer science majors freshly graduated unable to land a role in the very niche industry that they studied 4 years for? What do you even do with all these people? Have we heard any calls from the government to put an end to this blatant outsourcing of labor from the administration that so dearly uses America First as a cherished slogan for their movement?
