>We've all seen androgynous people who can pass for either gender.
Thats true. As odd as it is to imagine, that was me once. I had to keep my hair short or until late adolescence, I could get mistaken as a girl because of my facial features. Which was embarrassing, because at the time, I had no interest in casual same sex and like today, no interest in gender bending. But I couldnt help my facial features so I had to keep hair short and have very sex typical clothes. Specifically, I had dark lashes, a slight angular chin and a rather girlish eyes and a slight build.
Normally it was only people 50 and up that would make the mistake, as is usual for androgynous types, since contemporary hair and clothing was more fluid in newer times than in old, so they would get confused easily.
I didnt let go of my style until much later though, perpetuating the sort of rebellious androgyny chic that I was unintentionally broadcasting. The casual thought of same sex was still nascent at that point, the simple curiosity and fascination most teens have.
Which is all funny now since I gay died and now appear more like a slimmer Danny DeVito, a prediction I made in college.

Others would disagree, but this is my self image visually.
Before the wheels fell off, an ex said I looked like younger Nick Cage. I didnt take that as a compliment either.
