In 1983, Congressman Larry McDonald was interviewed by Pat Buchanan and Tom Braden to debate on the topic of the Council on Foreign Relations. McDonald exposed Tom Braden to the audience, pointing out that he himself was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. McDonald asserted that the Council on Foreign Relation's ultimate objection is the creation and implementation of a one world government. Braden did his best to try to discredit, belittle, and mock Congressman McDonald. However, McDonald eloquently and firmly made his case despite the constant obfuscation from Braden in particular.
