Obsidius is mostly a Single Target Wood Debuffer focusing around his exclusive Debuff Bullet Hole and the damage it deals through Onslaught. Bullet Hole can only be applied through his 1st and 3rd skills. It acts as a counter for Onslaught which can be his main source of damage. It can deal 40% to 230% damage based on the number of stacks of Bullet Hole an enemy has at the end of the turn each enemy can have up to 20 stacks. You can increase the stack by 1 when other Heroes inflict Debuffs, deal damage or both. However if they are a Debuff Hero they add 2 stacks instead. He also has his own version of Critical it works like Santestsu and Vlaham's being a chance to increase damage by 30% but his is tied to how many Debuffs the target has being 20% for each Debuff. 5 stacks of Bullet Hole will satisfy that requirement. Now his skills 1st hits one enemy 3 times for 20% damage each hit and will inflict 1 stack of Bullet Hole. 2nd deal 100% damage to one enemy and lowers their Atk and Def. 3rd hits 4 times randomly for 40% damage and each hit will remove one buff and add one Bullet Hole.
He wants to attack first to apply Bullet Hole and have allies who are Debuffers or have skills that hit multiple times. GhostWoods Flamier, Tsuneaki and Barte are nice 4star options. Canes, Viscunam, and both versions of Giansar can work with getting multiple stacks of Bullet Hole but the best Hero would be Lightning Blade Kouki & Sirius. With enough VP their 2nd skill can hit 5 times and can inflict 5 debuffs almost guaranteeing 20 stacks of Bullet Hole on one enemy. Obsidius works well with Christmas Monomasa as he can hit multiple times letting Dark Shadow and Starlight stack quicker which lets his 3rd skill hit multiple times increasing Bullet Hole stacks and that increases Onslaught damage. Atosis SK passive can make him into a mini harmacist and since Obsidius can take a pounding thanks to his high HP and Onslaught damage being end of turn Ganran SK passive helps a lot.
