What calibre was the gun?
I’m not clicking that link it has poo on it from the OP touching it but I’m trying to imagine the scene so that we can all enjoy it to the upmost.
I believe the first kid the male who we will call “Chucky” was coming at her, picture it, his eyes glowing the only thing that can be seen in the shadows before Chucky emerges. Backed into the corner of her bedroom mom fumbles for a moment in a draw before producing a large calibre magnum revolver and blowing young Chucky back ten feet out of the door and down the stair. Ahh, look out! Shishquaniqya has a kitchen knife, “BOOM” again thundering justice is heard as the first round takes the flesh hungry matricidal cannibal child square between the eyes “BOOM, BOOM” a classic SAS style double tap finishes the job. And thank goodness for that.
