I mean, the obvious inspiration for CO E33 was Eric Henninot's "the horde of counter wind".
>Going against storms from the Lower Slopes toward the Upper Reaches, a group of twenty-three adventurers is trying to reach the other side of the world to discover the origin of the wind. They were born, and raised to fight this battle, but will they succeed against the nine forms of the gale? Especially when even their order wants them to fail and has no plan in sending after them another horde… The 34th Horde has no choice: they must succeed. At what price…
I mean its even the 34th horde, so while in the graphic novel world the next horde would be the 35th, in the world of CO it would be the 33rd
Its the same idea, as in an isolated bastion of humanity trying to find the rhyme or reason and a way to stop an esoteric event that threatens to end them.
Sandfall framed (pun intended) all that on the canvas and the Dessandre family, but the inspiration is clear as day.
The other thing about the chatgpt on the op is that i much rather believe that whoever made that prompt is a full on retard that is missrepresenting what the AI model had access to (either to be a dickhead or just becasue he is an idiot) over believing that some french dude was dead set on the title of the game and then asked chat gpt to write a plot around that title.
Even more so because we KNOW that the game started named "We lose"
