Rogue is so fucking weird to me man, there are tons of times where her character makes sense and she's written in a totally logical way that makes her rough around the edges and cool, but vulnerable internally and compelling in a way that makes a good foil and complement to Gambit, and then there are times where she's written as an annoying as shit bitch that is the worst parts of the girl power push, literally left Gambit to die in the artic (even if they retconned that a bit), told the Avengers Gambit wasn't trustworthy (even though he's like one of like three X-Men that have always been totally loyal to the dream) and went from wanting kids throughout almost all her publications to suddenly being very anti babies. Its really insufferable watching her have such a personality swap every other writer
