I haven't slept soundly in a long while. I hate the evil one, but I'm so worldly; maybe I'm giving the evil one my assent. Or maybe that just means I am not fleeing as much as my mind designs to. I hope the Lord can grant that I have enmity with evil; that He can give me that grace. But I know I must love virtue more, or else. I haven't answers other than that, I just hope I survive and am not the devil's plunder. Christ save me.
