He shifted to film directing and directed some really good films like Razorback, Highlander, The Shadow, Resident Evil, Extinction, and Swimming Upstream. Yea, he made some bad movies like Highlander 2, but he is a visionary auteur.

Yet when people talk about the Highlander remake, his name basically never comes up. The man who created Highlander, whose music video-derived directorial style defines the identity of that film, is completely ignored.
