thousands of numbers pass your notice daily. you primed your brain to notice particular numbers now you remember them. if you assigned a random number say 50, value, then a car passes you in the street on the way to the grocery store and comes close to hitting you and it has a 50 in its license plate you notice and remember. but if your special number was 34 you`d forget, then you`d see your grocery bill came to $68.34 and you`d gasp, that number again!
really its just something similar to the texas sharpshooter fallacy or pic related, survivorship bias.
